When Chef Marwan first conceived of Roaa Lebanese Cuisine, he wanted to share Lebanese-style food and culture with West Haven locals. Today, his restaurant does just that, as it’s one of the city’s most popular and affordably priced Lebanese restaurants.
Roaa is tucked into a strip mall on Campbell Avenue. The menu features a range of traditional kebabs with beef, chicken, or spiced lamb, as well as platters that combine your choice of entree, such as lamb shawarma, with hummus, baba ghanouj, rice, fattoush salad, and pita bread. Keep in mind that servings are generous. Finally, you should know that this place is really known for its catering menu. Hummus, baba ghanouj, falafel, and Greek salad are all pretty tasty (and easy) ways to fill your buffet table, so keep this place in mind next time you need to feed a crowd.
