Although August is, of course, the time to be outside, sometimes we get stuck with a rainy day and have no choice but to stay indoors. However, in a place like New Haven, there’s never nothing to do – there’s always great rainy day activities to keep you busy all weekend long.
Strapping on some skates and going for a few spins at the local roller rink is a fun way to spend the afternoon – whether you’re five-years-old or fifty-years-old. Get in the nostalgic spirit next time we get stuck with a storm and head to these roller rinks near your 360 State apartment!
Middletown Roller Skating Rink, located at 547 N Main St, Middletown which is a 35-minute drive from your 360 State apartment, is an indoor rink and open year round. With an admission rate of $8 per person and a skate rental of $3 per person, a visit here makes for a fun and cheap day out!
Birthday parties are also popular at the Middletown Roller Skating Rink – partygoers can rent out the entire facility for $340 for 20 skaters and they are welcome to bring their own cake, drinks, paper goods, food and more.
