Take part in a fun local event while helping to raise some money for the local New Haven community. 360 State Street residents can take part in the Beer and Oysters in the Garden fundraiser hosted by The New Haven Land Trust. This event will be held close by to 360 State Street (just a five minute drive!) over at Fred Cervin Bioregional Garden on September 24th.
After the tremendous success and positive feedback from the New Haven community, they have decided to host this event for a second year. Beginning at 4pm you can start to get your fill of all the beer and oysters your heart desires. A beer tasting will take place featuring over 15 different breweries and home brewed beers. Breweries featured include New England Brewing, Black Hog, Thomas Hooker Brewing Co., Thimble Island and of course many more!
To pair with the beer tasting there will be several local places offering up their best oysters to those taking part in the fundraiser! Oysters from Norm Bloom and Sons, Stella Mar Oysters and Thimble Island Oyster Co. will be featured.
What would an event be without some music? Live music will be featured for musical entertainment throughout the evening. Musical guests include Stacy Phillips and His Bluegrass Characters and The Mojo Boys. To learn more about the musical guests, you can check out the event’s main website.
There are several different ticket options available to fit the needs of those wishing to partake and have fun while contributing to the New Haven community.
