New Haven Farmers’ Markets

Farmers Market season has begun! Now that the warm weather is here, shopping outdoors can be a nice change for spring here in New Haven. Our 360 State Street residents are lucky that there are several different farmers markets to choose from around New Haven for getting fresh fruits and veggies this season.

 

Wooster Square Farmers Market is now open for New Haven residents to enjoy and will continue through the summer and fall until December.  Located less than a five minute drive from 360 State Street, there are several vendors that will be supplying this markets fresh products this season. Stop by stands from Barberry Hill Farm Starlight Gardens, Stone Gardens Farms, Riverbank Farm and many others!  Take a look at their Facebook page for a full list of vendors as well as a sneak peak of the favorites they will be selling at the market.

 

Edgewood Park Farmers Market is another great local farmers  market our residents at 360 State Street can shop at. You can visit and grab your favorite fresh products every Sunday starting this month all the way through December. Vendors featured at this market, which is just minutes away from 360 State Street, are Four Root Farm where you can get fresh vegetables such as radishes and turnips, Sankow’s Beaver Brook Farm for cheeses, jams and spreads and SoNo Baking Company for homemade pies and other baked goods. Upper State Street Market is just a short drive up State Street for our residents. Open every Saturday June through October vendors at Upper State Street Farmers Market include Cheasnut Fine Foods, Eagle Wood Farms and Gresczyk Farms. There are many other vendors offering their best products to New Haven this season so make sure to look at their website for all the details. Their website also includes a handy Harvest Calendar, which tells you which products are in season every month.
