In the mood for some beer and relaxation, all for a good cause? About a 35 minute drive from us at 360 State, on February 25th Black Hog Brewing Company (Oxford, Connecticut) and Caseus Fromagerie (New Haven, Connecticut) will host the first ever Hogs N’ Curds event at the charming Colonial Tavern in Oxford.
The event will benefit Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc., an organization located in Seymour and dedicated to supporting low-income children throughout the state.
The event will feature beer-inspired appetizers, a beer and cheese pairing class, and beer-inspired sweets from Wildflour Confections (Seymour, Connecticut). During the pairing class, guests will sample Black Hog beer and Connecticut made cheeses, as well as Winding Drive Jams (Woodbury, Connecticut) and local honey. The event is focused on supporting local small businesses, while benefitting a good cause. It’s sure to be a delicious event, whether you’re a beer, cheese, or sweets connoisseur!
